A tandem bicycle that was made and deployed in the Calais Jungle refugee camp in France, and Lesvos in Greece as an ethnographic research device. The bike was made in collaboration with Jimmy Loizeau.
A write up, and critical analysis of the tandem device can be found in my PhD thesis, which will be available towards the end of 2020. The bike was also used to make the series of films ‘A/symmetries of the Jungle‘, and ‘Calais Then (2016), and Then (2019)‘.
